Penetang challenges in the third period
The Alliston Hornets dominated in the first period of Sunday's game against the Penetang Kings at the New Tec Rec Centre in Alliston, but that didn't' mean the Kings had given up.
After playing to 3-1 lead at the end of the first period, the Kings returned to score twice in the second period then tie it up early in the final twenty minutes.
Penetang's Jaob Robitaille scored the game opener at 4:13 into the game.
The Alliston response was three by the time the period ended.
Hornets goals came from Eric Shannon, Tanner Dockerty on a powerplay, and Randy Cox.
A fourth Alliston goal a just over a minute into the second period from Cam Nicoll seemed to place the game out of reach for the Kings, but two more goals got Penetang
back into the game.
