Erin 4-1 over Schomberg
The Schomberg Cougars waited for the final couple of minutes to stop an Erin Shamrocks shutout during the Cougars home game on Thursday, November 3.
The only Cougars goal came at 18:12 into the final frame from Evange Bethanis.
Erin led the game all the way through with two goals in the first period from Oran Ferguson and Tyler Burlock.
The Shamrocks clinched the game in the second period with another pair from Ferguson and Tyler
Ferreira.
The first period saw only one penalty - an interference call against Schomberg.
Shots on net were 26 for Erin - 22 for Schomberg.
The Cougars travel to Fergus on Sunday, Nov. 6, to take on the Devils.
They return to home ice at the Trisan Centre in Schomberg on Thursday, November 10, to face the Caledon Golden Hawks.
Game time is 8:30 p.m.
